With our “Best of” you will definitely succeed! On your wine hike "Walk like a local" you can enjoy a cool glass of Riesling wine in the most beautiful places high above Rüdesheim. Our locals will provide you with great information about the region, wine growing, sights and a look or two behind the scenes on your smartphone. 

We will equip you with our picnic backpack, lovingly filled with some goodies for the tour. Have you always wanted to visit the place where the Hollywood blockbuster “In the Name of the Rose” with Sean Connery was filmed? This is also included in this package. With the individual audio tour in Eberbach Monastery you are completely independent. The Rheingau is known for its excellent Riesling. That's why a foray through Rüdesheim's Rhine wine world shouldn't be missed. Dinner

We are a Garni hotel and offer you an extensive breakfast menu. Our winery Altenkirch will be happy to take care of your dinner. Our chefs will pamper you in a historic ambience. We cook with love for the region. The winery can be reached in 20 minutes on foot. For the sake of our environment

As part of our cooperation with VIABONO, you can stay with us in a climate-friendly manner. The contribution of €0.45/night/person goes towards an environmental project. In this way, you actively contribute to making our hotel a climate-friendly accommodation facility. 

Cancellation policy:

Please note that we only accept free cancellations of packages up to 14 days before arrival in writing. For short-term cancellations, partial cancellations (e.g. one night for stays lasting several days) and no-shows, we reserve the right to charge 90% of the agreed contractual service. Minimum stay of 2-3 nights on weekends April - October.

Tourism tax

From July 1st, 2021, the city of Lorch will charge a tourism fee of € 2 per night/person (from 18 years of age) for trips for private and business reasons. The contribution is not part of the room price.
