02.06.2016 – Welcome to the „UNESCO World Heritage Upper Middle Rhine Valley"! On World heritage day on June 5th 2016 all UNESCO-World Heritage sites in Germany are invited to join.
The World Heritage Day is an opportunity for the German Commission for UNESCO and the German UNESCO World Heritage Sites Association to present the activities and interesting objectives of UNESCO to a broad public. In Lorch the historical Hilchenhaus, Renaissance building from the mid 16th century, opens its doors for the public. From 13:30 h a.m. you can also join the opening of a small wine tasting shop.
