On the way to happiness

Exactly 9.3 kilometers, the trail "Rhein-Wisper-Glück" leads lucky seekers through a world of wonders. "This circular route offers great views over the Rhine Valley, which accompany the hiker over long distances and constantly changing," it says on the website of the German Hiking Institute. Quaint forests, dry stone walls, heat-loving vegetation, old vineyards and cultural and historical treasures, such as the castle ruine “Nollig”, are right on the path. Ninety percent of the way is nature's path and make your feet happy.

"The truth lies in wine" - In Vino Veritas

On this beautiful 9.5 km long Wisper Trail you should definitely have a glass of wine with you and enjoy the wonderful views on one of the benches built for this purpose. And those who have not yet been to the Rhine Valley will be amazed and pay their respects to the wine. Because right at the beginning of the trail, on the steep ascent to the World Heritage vineyard, you will understand how strenuous wine growing is in the Middle Rhine Valley. You start directly from the Hotel Im Schulhaus. Do not forget to take a packed lunch - our "lunch break" - with you for a rest.
